FourteenFish Tips #1: How to use our Learning Diary

Some of you may already be familiar with the Learning Diary but it is our fear not all of you are. It really does help take the stress out of appraisal preparation and it’s free!

How it works

The Learning Diary is available online and has a free app for Android, iPhone and iPad. The app works on or offline, this means you could be anywhere, on the train, on a beach, at your child's swimming lesson, on the red carpet, etc. When you re-connect to the internet, at home, work, pub, it will automatically sync with your online Learning Diary, like magic!

App

We think this makes capturing learning throughout the year far easier than copying and pasting notes or even typing notes up after an update course or consultation. This also means all of your learning is saved in one place for you to look back on when ever you like, this is made easy with our nifty search and filter bar.

Here is the best bit! So, throughout the year you have been collecting your CPD, PDP, QIA, general notes, etc, in your Learning Diary. To add what is essential to your appraisal all you need to do is click on ‘Manage what’s in my appraisal’ and tick the entry you want and it will appear in your appraisal in the right place!
